For centuries, dance has expressed the finest of art and athleticism. Even today, the benefits of dance education for youngsters and adults alike are many. Through the disciplined study and practice of dance, students are encouraged to develop poise, confidence and a sense of personal accomplishment. In addition, the opportunity to train and perform publicly is excellent preparation for those planning careers in dance education, theatre arts or other entertainment fields.

For everyone, dance opens the door to improved physical well-being, greater self-esteem and a deeper appreciation of the marriage of music and movement.
