Dara
Ticehurst
Dara graduated from San Jose State
University in 2004 with a
Bachelor's degree in Advertising, and a minor in Psychology. She
intends to continue her education in Business Management and
Accounting.
Dara has received the majority of her dance training at Schumacher's
School of Dance in South San Francisco. Although tap remains her
favorite style of dance, she also has extensive experience in ballet,
jazz, lyrical, and pointe. She is a Showstopper and Showbiz regional
and national dance champion; she also has won various awards at
the
California State Talent Competition's.
The highlight of Dara's professional career was performing as a
backup
dancer to Jackie Chan and the Superstars in Concert held at the
Grand
Garden Arena at the MGM Grand hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Additionally, she performed as a backup dancer at a Sing Tao Singing
Competition and during halftime of an East/West Shriner Game both
of
which were broadcasted on local television. She was also invited
to
join Cirque Du Soleil at the age of 15.

kinderdance, and jazz.
