Wendy Haddock Wendy Haddock is originally from San Diego and started training intensively in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, modern, acrobatics and tap 22 years ago. She trained at various dance studios throughout the San Diego and Los Angeles areas. She continued her education as a double major in dance and art at California University State Long Beach. Wendy danced with various professional companies from 1998 until 2006, Unity Dance Ensemble, Diamontez Dance Company and John Stronk‘s In the Light. She moved to the Bay Area in 2006 to pursue her dreams which entailed starting her own company, Avatar Flux Dance Company, and doing freelance art.As Artistic Director, Choreographer and Founder of Avatar Flux, Wendy takes contemporary jazz and interweaves elements of hip-hop, modern, ballet and breakdancing into her style. She teaches various forms of dance to students ranging from children up to adults throughout the Bay Area. Wendy will be joining MDPA teaching competition leaps & turns, jazz and lyrical.
