Lindsey
(Fitzmorris)Salvadalena
Lindsey Fitzmorris is from southern Louisiana and received her early
training from Constantin Apetrei, a Bolshoi Ballet graduate. She
continued her training at Louisiana's only performing arts conservatory
high school, New Orleans Center for Creative Arts/Riverfront. With
NOCCA/Riverfront, she was mentored by Jan Miller and Miguel Lopez.
She also studied at The Washington Ballet, Ballet Magnificat, and
The Boston Ballet Summer Intensives, the former on scholarship.
Lindsey recently graduated Cum Laude from SUNY Purchase College
Conservatory of Dance with her BFA in Dance Performance.
Lindsey has performed for Regional Dance America/Southwest, Dawn
in the Floating City, A contemporary New Orleans Opera, With Ballet
Apetrei, Dew Drop, The Nutcracker, Aurora, Sleeping Beauty, and
Big Swans, Swan Lake. With NOCCA/Riverfront, Kitri Variation Act
II, Don Quixote, PALAMOBA, choreographed jointly by Miguel Lopez,
Elisa Monte, Robert Battle, and Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's
Dream. With the Purchase Dance Corps, Russian/Arabian, The Nutcracker,
Duets, Merce Cunningham, Shakespeare's Alls Well That Ends Well,
and "YOU," an original solo set by Nathan Trice. Lindsey
was a company member and danced for Liss Fain Dance of San Francisco.

Lindsey has taught and guested for Ballet Apretrei, The Conservatory
of Ballet Aviv, New Orleans, La, Sleepy Hollow Performing Arts Center,
Sleepy Hollow, NY, YMCA Afterschool Enrichment Program, Westchester,
NY and SUNY Purchase College, Professor of Ballet for Non-Majors.
Lindsey is
MDPA's Director of Ballet in her fifth year at the studio, she teaches
classes in ballet technique for competitive dancers as well as childrens,
pre-primary, primary ballet and pointe classes.
