Marqui Martinez

Marqui has been dancing with Mission Dance and Performing Arts for 20years and teaching for the last 4. She enjoys all styles

but loves jazz, contemporary and hip hop the most. She cheered for the San Jose Saber Cats in 2007 as a Saber Kitten.

Marqui has choreographed for many teams including Santa Clara University dance team. She dances with Phoenix Dance Company,

Verse and Independant Dance Company. Marqui obtained her degree to be a Visual Designer fromFIDM, the Fashion Institute of Design

and Merchandise in San Francisco. Most recently, she is with the hip hop company For The Cause and you can see her performing throughout the bay area.

Marqui teaches jazz, hip hop and lyrical/contemporary classes for both the competitive and recreational dance student.
