Katy Ross

Katy is a former rhythmic gymnast and Bay Area native. She was a rambunctious child that was put into Gymboree classes at 2.  She fell in love with gymnastics and dance right away.  Katy had more aptitude for gymnastics, but continued with Ballet to support her competitive Rhythmic gymnastics career.  She remained in competitions until the age of 17 and immediately began coaching.  She has been choreographing and teaching tumbling, rhythmic gymnastics, artistic gymnastics, and acro for over 20 years!  Katy loves to help her students create and express themselves through movement and help them learn new skills. When she is not teaching, Katy loves to knit and to cook with her two daughters.  Katy is beyond excited to join the Mission Dance team teaching Tumbling Stretch and Strength!
